Radio amateur students at Hungarian universities are conducting calculations and analyses as part of a university project regarding the propagation characteristics of Earth-Moon-Earth (EME) radio links and the properties of lunar reflection.
This project is particularly timely, as we wish to support the work of these student hams by involving the local amateur radio community, while also commemorating Zoltán Bay’s moon radar experiments conducted some 80 years ago.
For the success of the project, students require logs containing EME QSOs (from any band and mode – CW/SSB/Digital), which will serve as the basis for statistical and technical analysis.
If you would like to contribute to the success of this research, please upload your EME log via the following form:
Thank you to all radio amateurs for your help and cooperation!
