MRASZ Privacy Policy

The data protection regulation of MRASZ is regulating handling of personal data collected and used by MRASZ based on Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom ("Privacy Act") and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) entered into force May 25, 2018 on General Data Protection Regulation.
 
Definitions used in the Privacy policy:
 
Personal data: Data that is able to be related to any defined person and can lead to forming conclusions about that person.
Controller: Hungarian Radio Amateur Society (MRASZ)
Location of data processing: Királyhelmec u. 9, 1037 Budapest, Hungary
Person responsible for data processing: President of MRASZ.
 
The controller collects and manages, to the extent necessary, the Personal Data of registered members of member organizations, users of its QSL office, persons registered to the forum operating on the controller's website, those individuals who are included in the contest- and rating system, and participants of the events organized by of MRASZ. The management of Personal Data covers the following: name, address, date of birth, mother's maiden name, callsign, telephone number, e-mail address, achievements and placements gathered from the contest database, and other data necessary for the current event. The controller respects protection of personal data and, in accordance with the relevant legislation, allows for its recognition, modification, deletion, and provision of its use and restrictions. Data collection is limited to information provided voluntarily by the data owner. Personal Data is shared with third parties in accordance with legal regulations by the controller. 
Data transfer based on legal provisions is done in compliance with the law.
 
The Privacy Policy of MRASZ ensures the prevention of conservation and access of unauthorized persons to personal data, and shall make every effort to provide its safety, accessibility, and provision in accordance with relevant legislation. Access to Personal Data is provided to the controller's colleagues, officers, leaders of the Standing Committee, and a restrained group of members, with the approval of the responsible person, to the extent necessary for the purpose of data management. Personal data is stored by the controller for the time necessary for the purpose of data management, or in other cases, for the time stated in the relevant legislation.
 
The persons concerned have the right to:

The controller provides information of the range of data processed, the purpose and time of data management, the activity related to data processing, modification, deletion, and receives statements related to limitation of processing within 30 days. The controller can only decline informing the persons affected on the basis of a valid legal provision, the reason of which the persons concerned are informed.

Data Collection occurs at the location of data management. The controller is allowed to utilize services of third persons with the aim of data procession, while ensuring free provision of data. In situations like this, the controller provides everything in their power to ensure that the access of Personal Data happens in accordance with current regulations.
