ARE CALLING FOR ACTION TO SUPPORT
THECHILDREN OF THE WAR RELIEF ACTION
The African-Hungarian Union is organising medical missions to the Kiwanja Refugee Camp
(in Democratic Republic of the Congo) where more than 10 000 refugees are living without any medical attendance. Volunteer doctors sent by the Union were the first doctors curing people even in the surrounding villages. The absence of medical attendance is unfortunately very frequent in the war zone. This relief programme is planned for long-term by the Union and it needs money, medicines and materials for curing. Doctors and assistants are working on a volunteer basis despite the hard conditions. The medical attendance for one person is 2,5 USD only, but the budget of a mission is 10 000 – 12 500 USD for a month, which is financed by donations. We would count on your kindness and willingness to donate as this programme is supported by illustrious personages of public life and artists as well.To see the list of supporters and donators please go to: www.ahu.hu.
